Creating a Purchase Requisition

Use Create Purchase Requisitions to quickly create your PO request.

  1. Click Purchasing in the left side menu bar and click Create Requisition.
  2. Enter the identifying information for the requisition.
    1. Complete the required fields: the Requested From stocking location, the Requested By entity, and the Date Required.
    2. Enter any additional information for this PO req including the Reference and Notes. Depending on the settings for the stocking location, other fields might be available.
  3. Click the Catalog tab.
  4. Use the Parts Catalog to select the part number to add to the requisition. For each Part Number, enter the Quantity to request. A will appear to the right of the part number row to indicate the part number as been added to the grid on the Selected Items tab.
  5. Click the Selected Items tab to review the details of each part being requested, making any required changes. The the Unit of Measure is required. For a physical copy of the requisition, check Print after saving?.
  6. Click to process. A confirmation message shows the purchase requisition number generated.
