About Categories and Sub Categories

Categories are used to classify part numbers. Categories have a single level of sub categories. Each category can have multiple sub categories
To view or hide the sub categories for a particular category, click to toggle the arrow to the left of the category.
Fields on this page
Category | A unique description of the category up to 50 characters. |
Sub category | A description of the sub category up to 50 characters. The sub category must be unique within the category. |
Active | Available for both categories and sub categories. Checked by default. Indicates whether the record is available for use. |
