Return of Serialized Items
If issued to returning entity, the item is returned as per the normal process and the transaction history is updated for the item and the entity.
If issued to returning entity and not issued at returning location, the item is returned to that location. A warning message is displayed.
If not issued to returning entity, the item is returned to the location. A return transaction is generated from the returning entity and a warning is displayed.
If not issued to returning entity, but Return of serialized item by a different entity causes auto-return and reissue transactions? are checked off in the Location settings, the item is returned from the original entity, issued to the new entity and finally returned from the new entity. A warning is displayed.
If no matching transactions at return location, an error message is generated, and the transaction will not proceed.
