About Jobs and Sub Jobs

Jobs can be a specific job number, area of a plant site, or ERP job number. Jobs can have Sub Jobs and each sub job can have multiple pre-existing Cost Codes linked to them.

Adding Cost Codes to Sub Jobs

To link a cost code to a sub job, the cost code must already exist. Tip Cost Codes can only be attached to sub jobs. If you are only using a single level of jobs, consider either duplicating each job as its own sub job or grouping everything under a single top-level job. Looking Up a Job

All jobs are displayed when the page is opened. If there are more job records than are visible without scrolling, consider using the search. Click Utilities > Jobs.

Editing a Job or Sub Job

Look up the record to edit under Utilities > Jobs. Select the job or sub job to change and make the required changes. Click Save.

Deleting a Job or Sub Job

Look up the record to delete under Utilities > Jobs. Select the Job or Sub Job delete by clicking in the checkbox to the left. Click X​ in the edit tool bar.

Removing Cost Codes from Sub Jobs

A cost cost can be removed or unlinked from a sub job even if there is history. This does not delete the cost code. Look up the cost code to unlink under Utilities > Jobs...
