About Transfers

Transfers are the permanent movement of inventory from one stocking location to another stocking location. The transfer is created when the inventory is shipped and then received at the destination stocking location unless it is lost in transit.

The Lost in Transit tab on the Transfers page displays the list of all item IDs, part numbers, and descriptions with lost quantities and Lost in Transit document numbers for all for the transfer. Tip To view any lost in transit document, double-click the Lost In Transit No.

Move inventory from one stocking location to another. Click Locations in the left side menu bar and click Transfers.…

Looking Up a Transfer

Click Locations > Transfers. Enter any known information about the transfer as a pre-filter. Click ​Search.

Cancelling a Transfer

A transfer can be cancelled if unreceived or partially received. Serialized items will be placed back in stock. Once the transfer is cancelled, it can no longer be received as nothing is outstanding.
